Tuition Fee and Scholarship for Netherlands
Tuition fees and scholarships in the Netherlands are one of the most important points to consider while applying abroad for further study. Getting a scholarship in the Netherlands is highly competitive and tough. But there is a wide range of scholarship programs and fee waivers for international students.
These scholarships cover partial or complete expenses depending upon courses and programs. They can be categorized as the ones offered by the Netherlands government or European Union, and the ones offered by the university or college.

Fees for international students vary from course to course. For Bachelor’s programs, the tuition fee may range from 6000 to 15000 euros. Similarly, for Masters programs, the tuition fee may range from 8000 to 20000 euros.
1) Orange Tulip Scholarship Programme
Orange Tulip Scholarship Programme 2022 at Radboud University has 21+ scholarships. The scholarship duration is two years, depending on the duration of the masters program. It is not a full scholarship and excludes living costs.
Eligibility
- Should have a bachelor's degree outside of the Netherlands
- Should have applied for the Masters program before September 1, 2022
- Requires proficiency in the English language

2) Holland scholarship
The Holland Scholarship is offered to international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The students can apply for Bachelor’s or Master’s Degrees at Universities in the Netherlands. The scholarship amounts to 5000 euro, which you are meant to receive in the first year of your studies.
Eligibility :
Applicants must be from a country that is not part of the European Economic Area (EEA).
Applicants must not have ever been enrolled before at an educational institution in the Netherlands as a full degree student.
Time of scholarship application deadline - 1st February 2022 - 1st May 2022.
3) Erasmus university Rotterdam scholarships & grants
Erasmus University offers several types of scholarships to international students. The university offers the following scholarships to international students depending on nationality and faculty:
Erasmus Trustfonds Scholarship
The Erasmus Trustfonds scholarship supports research and education projects, organized by the Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). The scholarship amounts to 15000 euros. The application process for the Erasmus Trustfonds scholarship starts on the 15th of November 2021 and may last till January.
Erasmus University Holland Scholarship and Erasmus School of Economics Waiver 2022-2023
This scholarship is for international students outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to pursue a bachelor or master degree in the Netherlands. This scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
The scholarship amounts to 10000 euro. On top of that, Erasmus School of Economics awards a discount of 2000 euros on the tuition fee for prospective master students for the year 2022-2023. It is an annual scholarship. The time of scholarship application is closed for 2022-2023.
Eligibility
1. Applicants must have been admitted to one of the following mentioned courses:
- Master Accounting, Auditing and Control
- Master Econometrics and Management Science
- Master Economics and Business
2. Applicants must have submitted the application documents in the EUR Application Portal before the 1st of February.
3. Applicants must have achieved excellent scores in their bachelor programme. This means an average final result of at least grade 8.5 on a grading scale of 1-10.
4) Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP)
??The Orange Knowledge Programme is designed for mid-career professionals who would like to extend their experience with studying in the Netherlands. It is available to apply for Nepalese students too.
