Education in Russia

Education in Russia opens to some of the programs offered at Russian Universities such as  Bachelor's and specialist's degrees, master's degrees, and postgraduate (residency, postgraduate) programs.  Training programs, summer schools, courses for studying Russian as a foreign language, and other options will help you get started on your way to a valuable certificate.

Bachelor and Specialist’s Degree

The duration of the programs and academic options after graduation are the two key differences between bachelors and specialist degrees. Bachelor's degrees last 4 years and cover both core disciplines and specialized studies in the field of study. Furthermore, Russian universities adapt the bachelor's degree education process to the students' preferred courses, resulting in a unique educational path. Students write and defend their last qualifying work in their final year. However, a bachelor's degree enables students to pursue a master's degree but not a Ph.D.

Students in specialist programs receive a more mindful education in their field of study. The programs range in length from 5 to 6 years. Graduates are awarded a specialized diploma depending on the outcomes of state exams and a qualifying work review. It allows them to continue their education in a magistracy or postgraduate program.

You will choose a topic for your eventual thesis with this person, and you will undertake research throughout the program under their supervision. Students begin by deciding on a scientific orientation and a thesis research topic. Ph.D. studies are true scientific endeavors that will need a significant amount of time and effort.
