Japan is rich in culture and demographics, The population of Japan is 126,476, 461. The life expectancy of Japanese men is 81.9 years and for females 88.1 years. The most populated cities are Tokyo and Yokohama, and the least populated City is Utsunomiya. During the imperial days, socialism flourished in Japan. Japanese people are known to be hard-working people. They have their own culture, customs, and lifestyles that are different from western civilizations. The first-morning sunrise can be seen from Japan.  Japanese have their traditional clothes such as Kimonos, happy costumes, and distinct footwear called tabi. They have their own language and excel in areas of sports with judo and martial arts. The Japanese cuisine also adds richness to Japanese culture with sushi, tempura, noodles, and teriyaki. Most Japanese people follow their customs and etiquette.

Japanese people like to celebrate their traditional cultures and festivals which are years old.

The most celebrated festivals are:

Sapporo Ice and Snow Festival: where ice sculptures and tower artistry are the main highlights that fall in the month of February.

Omizutori: Giant flame torches took to the top of Todaiji temple and celebrated Buddhist festivals.

Hanami: Cherry blossom festival in Japan in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto

Kanda Matsuri: Procession carrying 100 portable shrines with three hundred people covering Japan's Capital City.

Tenjin Matsuri: Boat festival in Japan with Kagura music, and Japanese costumes to celebrate Shito gods.

Awa Odori Matsuri: Dance festival in Japan with drums, flutes, and bells on the streets of Japan

Jidai Matsuri: This is a festival that commemorates the eleven hundred anniversary of Kyoto.

Japan sees a national holiday on New Year’s day, Coming of age day, National foundation day, Emperor’s birthday,  Vernal Equinox day, Showa Day, Constitution Memorial Day, Greenery Day, Children’s day, Marine day, Mountain day, Respect for the aged day, Autumn equinox, sports day, Culture day and labor’s thanksgiving day.
